NEW PASSPORT

Finally, the wait is over! After exactly 74 days, today I got my new passport! Indian embassy website says, "Normally, new passports would be mailed back within 5 working days". Indian officials have a notoriously dry sense of humour, I understood.

All's well that ends well. I love the Indian Govt. for clearing my case, and issuing me with a new passport! Information gleaned: Anticipation heightens the satisfaction!
