FRUITS OF LABOUR

This is a plaque I received for doing some volunteer work. During the course of it, I came to know a lot about Swami Vivekananda than I could have ever imagined, and many things surprised me. I have always been a bit passionate about my roots, and this was one of the reasons I went in for such service.

All's well that ends well... I am happy to say that our efforts over the past many months resulted in the first ever life-size statue of a Hindu figure in public view in Canada. Pretty neat, isn't it? Click here for photos of the statue investiture ceremony.
